Kamas (xas)

Kamas (or Kamassian) is an extinct Southern Samoyedic language. It resembles Selkup in that there is a distinction between the subjective (with intransitives and transitives) and objective (with transitives) conjugation such that in the latter the markers seem to express the pure presence of a definite direct object, but none of the object's phi-features.
